The alpine society of Trentino (C.A.I. S.A.T.) opened this refuge in 1903 in the Val di Saent, a beautiful alpine valley in which there are many streams and waterfalls. Besides
the glacial lakes of Sternai is the source of the stream of
Rabbies.

HOW YOU CAN ARRIVE
|
|
|
- From Piazzola in Rabbi valley go by car to the car park of the hamlet of Coler , then walk to Malga Stablasolo that in summer you can reach by a shuttle bus. From the mountain dairy (that is also a restaurant) walk along the path number 106 that arrives to the Dos de la Cros (a panoramic place) and to the Prŕ di Sačnt (a pasture where live many marmots) and then to the high refuge.
- From "Dos de la cros" on the path n° 128 climb to the Baito Campisolo (2.123 m.) and from there to the Dorigoni Refuge.
- From Piazzola go by car to the little car park of the hamlet of Cavallar, from there climb on the path n° 130 reaching the "Malga Terzolasa o Artisč" and then the Dorigoni Refuge.

ITINERARIES |

- From refuge walk on the path n° 104 reaching Bocchetta di Saent (3.208 m.). Then you can arrive to Cima Rossa di Saent (3.347), Cima Careser (3.187 m.), Cima Venezia (3.386).
- From the refuge walk on the path n° 104 through Careser glacier to reach the Larcher Refuge(2.608 m.) in Pejo valley.
- From refuge walk on the path n° 107 reaching Giogo Nero Pass (m. 2.825) and then climb on the path n° 145 reaching the summit of Cima Collecchio (m. 2.956) and then going down to Stella Alpina al Lago Corvo Refuge (m. 2.425)
