The refuge is collocated near the Rabbi Pass that from long time represents an important place of passage and of exchange of traditions, ideas, and commercial products for the native people of Sole and Rabbi valleys and of Ultimo valley situated in Alto Adige land. Walking for a few minutes (at a short distance) there is the alpine lake named Corvo. Other lakes are under the peaks of Sass Forà, Collecchio and
Montechiesa.

HOW YOU CAN ARRIVE
|
|
|
- From Piazzola go by car to the little car park of hamlet Cavallar (m. 1.520). From here walk on the path n° 108 going up the furrow of rio Lago Corvo to the refuge. |

| ITINERARIES |
|
|
- From the refuge walk on the path n° 145 climbing to the summit of Collecchio (m. 2.956) and then going down to the Giogo Nero Pass (m. 2.825). From here along the path n° 107 reach Dorigoni Refuge (m. 2.437).
- From the refuge continue on path n° 108 to the nearby Rabbi Pass (2.450 m.). From here go down along the Rio Montechiesa Valley to S. Gertrude in Ultimo Valley (1520 m.). |
