The “Quater Sauti Rabiesi” and the “Sautåmartini” are a folk group of men, women, teenagers and children who, with their passion for their territory, through dances are keep alive the local tradition.
The idea was born through the desire of recovering the way of dressing and the traditional dances of Val di Rabbi, in addition with the intention to create a place for social gathering and to promote the sense of identity of the yongest. In 2002, through photographic material, has been developed the research in order to reconstruct the way of dressing of the “Rabbiesi” generation during late ‘800, and also the traditional dances.
The debut took place the 10th August of 2003, with 8 couples (representing three different generations) and 7 dances. Nowadays the group is composed by many more couples and more than 15 dances.
The latest news is the creation of one group for little children, the “Sauta martini”!
