From the Plan car park, in Rabbi Fonti (1,252 m), continue on foot to the Plan campervan area and follow the “percorso dell’acqua”. When you reach the wooden bridge, continue towards the Ragaiolo waterfalls crossing the green fields until the start of the forest track. From here, there is a fantastic view of the suspension bridge. Climb the winding but very enjoyable footpath to the view point overlooking the spectacular Ragaiolo waterfalls (1,583 m) and then cross the suspension bridge.
Crossing the bridge is a special, adrenaline-filled experience in any season: more than 100 metres long, suspended above the gorge which is up to 57 m deep, from where you can see a truly unique show of nature. If you want to extend your walk, continue into the forest towards Malga Fratte (1,482 m) and the other mountain dairies above, or you can go back down to the old Venetian sawmill and the starting point.Find out more about the walk to Malga Fratte Bassa: a themed path from the Stelvio National Park.
